Shabbat HaGadol drasha in English
Shalom everyone,
As we approach Leil HaSeder and the Chag HaMatzot, during which we will recite Hallel eight or nine times,
you are warmly invited to a Shabbat HaGadol drasha on Zoom,
to be given by HaRav Tzvi
on Sunday, 11 Nisan (March 29) at 8:00 PM,
Hallel — In Times of Distress or in Times of Salvation?
Is it appropriate to recite Hallel in a time of distress?!
Or perhaps only after salvation has come?
Are we now living in days of distress, or in days of salvation?
What kavana have we had when reciting Hallel over the past two and a half years?
We will explore these questions through close study of the Hallel psalms and additional sources.
